Although the voice chat feature is amazing, I can see it being abused on public servers for instance. I hope admins of servers will get tools to mute and ban certain people from using the voice chat function on their servers. Otherwise - excluding the trolls, it'll be an amazing feature. Great job so far, devs! :)

I see no reason to ban, maybe mute, this is due to the fact that it's not a global voice chat. although i'm sure you are aware of this

I see every reason to. I don't want to be in a realism even and some troll over in the next Company is playing "They're taking the Hobbisbto Isengard" at the top of their volume. It might be funny for the troll unit but it would suck for everyone else.

It means that instead of banning someone out right you actually have a lower level of punishment to give out before taking it further if they persist.

Which is exactly why Server Administrators need to have the ability to server-wide mute people from using it, and the players need to be able to locally mute someone that they don't want to listen to.

Thats one of the things I really like about War of Rights. Its going to be more serious with historical accuracy not only with uniforms and such, but also with the gameplay. Troll clans would take some of that away.

I have an i5 4690k, 20gb of ram, and a gtx960 with 2gbvram. I'm getting about 30 - 35 frames on insane quality.

The specs necessary to run the game will probably get lower and lower as development continues and things become more optimized. :)

I'm also impressed with what i've seen in these Videos (The Target showing where you hit is a really nice touch) simple UI elements like this often get forsaken in realism based Games 'becus not realism' so i'm glad they're doing stuff like this. I can't wait for the Captain Tier to get their codes.

As far as I can see the only real issues seem to be Animation Glitches which for a release this early is quite impressive.

Yes, I've built a good pc that could run just about anything for just over $1000, as long as you leave out all the non essentials. It would also be even cheaper to build it yourself.

I have an HP Pavilion and I dont even know if it can run it :/ It somewhat can run Mount and Blade at Medium Settings, which is built on an old engine and Cry Engine is much more advanced, so basically if you want to have a smooth experience I would take the route of building a pc, or even buying a pre built one. You can get a decent machine for around $350 - $500 that can run GTA V.

Here's a small update for you. I just updated the particle effects of the muzzleflashes. In this new version, the performance hit is almost at 0 with massive amounts of gunshots. In the video below, I included an fps counter. Keep in mind I am running this on a very old Nvidia GTX 480 and it doesnt exactly cut it anymore hehe. But notice how stable the framerate is. And then there's the added effects of godrays through the smoke if the smoke is inside the shadows of the trees or other objects. The only downside is that the smoke might look slightly worse as it leaves the barrel, though I guess that is a matter of opinion. But you'll get to see it for yourself soon enough as it will be a part of the next update for the Drill Camp :)

That is a HUGE improvement from the old smoke (As it was kinda brown, which blackpowder weapons shouldn't make such a color smoke unless there is something wrong with it...) and I can't believe how real it looks. And I'm speaking from experience. Not that there was anything bad with the original, this just looks better.

Double load would only cause problems if powder is poured then a ball is rammed, then another ball is rammed, it would most likely explode like a modern fire arm.

Like the others said, black was the color, which was mainly used for Infantry and Militia, mostly in the first 2 years of war.

Texas, North Carolina and other states had black for their Officers and NCO's.
States like Virginia and Alabama used blue for their infantry troops instead.

yeah it's cool how it does that. What i can't wait for is when we have 200(or more) players on a server and you hear shooting all around you in the cornfield and are confused on what to do, as you don't know if it is friendly or not
