Officers
Officers were typically well educated and/or wealthy men. They command or assist in commanding units from platoons to regiments and only have to answer to officers higher than them and generals. They must be treated with respect for they have authority over most other soldiers and they know whats best for them and their men. Officers also drill their men and keep their unit's morale high.

NCO's
NCO's or Non Commissioned Officers were the hard and tough runners of most military units. They are highly respected experienced soldiers. All NCO's are fit to train, help, guide, drill, and punish their men under them reasonably and are known to be the best soldiers. NCO's helped train men below them and would help guide troops in combat. NCO's must make sure their men are ready for anything at a moments notice and are always looking for yankee blood. They would also sometimes be in non combat related roles but still had those skills of leadership and fighting.

Enlisted
Enlisted men make the bulk of an army and are there to be trained and to kill (while obeying orders from their seniors and officers) they would be trained and drilled most of their waking hours and were expected to preform flawlessly in maneuvers on and off the battle field with no exceptions.


A Little Information
We have been around for a while and we are involved in North and South events getting ready for the release of WoR. (North and South is a mod for Mount & Blade : Napoleonic Wars DLC on Steam) We have an overall roster of about 15-20 Men and of course we are getting more in and ready for War of Rights and we are very excited!

Sorry for the double post been waiting for over near a month for someone to post so i could type this haha. some historical info on both companies.

Company D Jefferson Davis Guards: CAPT. J SIMS
The company was mustered in state service at Woodville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi, under the command of Captian W L Brandon, on 7 May, 1861, and was accepted in Confederate service on 24 May, 1861. The company was ordered to Richmond, Virginia, by Special Orders No.58, Paragraph I, Adjutant & Inspectors General's Office, Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama, the same day and was mustered in Confederate service at Camp Davis, near Richmond, Virginia, by Captain J Scott, cavalry, Confederate States Army, on 5 June, 1861. Captian W L Brandon was appointed major, 1st Mississippi Battalion Infantry, on 11 June, 1861, and First Lieutenant J Sims was appointed captain at Camp Davis, near Richmond, Virginia, the same day.

Company E Hurricane Rifles: CAPT. I D STAMPS
The company was accepted in state service at Woodville, Wilkinson County, Mississippi, on 1 June, 1861, and was accepted in Confederate service on 6 June, 1861. The company was ordered to Richmond, Virginia, on 19 June, 1861, and was mustered in Confederate service at New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, on 20 June, 1861. The company arrived at Richmond, Virginia, on 29 June, 1861.
