If you aren't in "The Know" or just have been in the woods for the last day, then you won't know that Belgium was victim to an ISIS(IS or ISIL) terror attack on March 22nd, 2016. Please give your prayers or your support towards the Belgians.

I pray that the leaders of the world can put these evil men down and be done with it.
Ever since 2001 we've been fighting an idealogy. Either we're serious about destroying it or we'll see more innocent blood shed.

As someone who's job is kinda to deal with this stuff I can explain that to civilians just going in there and wiping them out might seem simple but it really isn't. The more military action the more extreme they get.
Additionaly I'm kinda against these patronizing emotional bandwagon "je suis _____" gimmicks. Wanna bet there will be some facebook profile overlay?
Terrorists commit terrorism.
Terrorism is the act of causing terror, to incite fear.
So crying, being emotional, and running heartbreaking news pieces is kinda like sending ISIS a congratulatory cake.
Stay vigilante, be safe, report anything that isn't right. Do your part by learning what to do in an emergency, how to perform basic first aid, proper identification and communication with police.
This is yet another in a string of attacks so ask yourselves. Have you taken any first aide courses? Do you know and have saved on your mobile phones emergency contact numbers and government contact numbers?
When will you? After the next attack?
What you train and prepare for can make the difference between ISIS in Brussels or Garland Texas. (ISIS fighters never even made it out of the parking lot, they were the only fatalities.)
Too late to send all your best for the dead. Let us worry about those still living and create better scenarios for tomorrow.

From back in Australia are condolences are with all of those who lost loved ones. It is terrible that this kind of warfare is being introduced into our daily lives.
Robert E Lee once said about the horrors of war, "It is well that war is so terrible – otherwise we would grow too fond of it."

This attitude is why this will never ever stop, "the west" killed hundreds of thousands from 2001 to date. Destroying innocent states as Iraq based on lies, terrorism in Europe is an issue since the 1960s and even more back to past...speaking of the German RAF, the Spanish ETA, the Irish IRA, where those Islamic fundamentalist's ?
Regarding this "Pray for...." i really cant jump on that hypocritical train, simultaneously to the Charlie Hebdo attacks the Boko Haram wiped out an entire village....did anyone ever say "Pray for Africa" ? another example is 50.000 people are dying every day due to starvation, are you praying for them too ?

Spain suffer the terrorism since 1961, first ETA in Franco's dictatorship and incomprehensible after a true democracy arrival, untill a few years ago they offer a ceasefire and now the ultra islamist terrorism
There are only two ways to fight against terrorism, the legal and the education
My sorrow for all the victims, family and friends

I cannot express sorrow, but I will pray to God for help in these dark times and to comfort the victims families

Praying ain't going to help those that are suffering only by helping the relevant authorities to catch the people responsible and providing what support you can to the people. I hope the Belgium security services can get these cretins before they strike again.

Acts of men are more reliable then hoping for acts of god.
I don't speak less of god, but to be victim and rely on him to do it all for you is weakness.
I'm atleast more comftorable knowing there are others here whom share this viewpoint. I'd hate to be ostracized as some nutjob.
Everyone wants to send thoughts and prayers.
Light candles.
Talk big shit from the comfort of their computer chair about what us soldiers should do.
Yet none are willing to learn how to even deal with a sucking chest wound. When your neighbor lies there suffocating to death someone else prayers will not save him. Gods gift of courage, and intelligence to you and the ability to know what to do will.
I encourage everyone here to take a legitimate first aid course. What will you do when this happens to you?
I'm proud to have done the combat life saver course.

Because >THE U.S.< (Not the entire continent of America in fact the Mexican cartels do business with IS *Canada is a huge ally for the U.S. though) have learned that you cannot shoot an idea, the more direct military pressure the more extreme and with cause they become.
If you feel so strongly about it get up and go down to your local recruiter. There are many other reasons but honestly the war on terror is like the war on drugs, it is just one big uphill shit fest with no end.
Quit demanding others to go die for you. (Not particularly you but folks in general)

I know basic first aid. But with that stuff about praying. People can do what they want and pray until theirs heart consent. Me personally am not religious at all. And we can't go to Belgium or maybe the rest of Europe at all. They've closed their borders/planes to get their. And some people can't afford getting plane tickets. But some people are religious and can and will pray.

pray is powerful my friend. My prayers go out to them. I do believe God expects us to act though and not just sit around, God isn't just going to make everything better, I believe He expects us to work. But in the end it is still in His hands.
And to those who can only offer prayer, I thank you because not everybody has the ability to join the service or donate money, or to physically help out.
