Very flavorful word choice.
P.S. I don't stalk peoples profiles and have 53 friends in common with an individual that was "recently" unfriended ;)

That's still blood. x removed doesn't mean your not blood.
The degree of cousinhood ("first," "second," etc.) denotes the number of generations between two cousins and their nearest common ancestor. The term "removed" refers to the number of generations separating the cousins themselves. So your first cousin once removed is the child (or parent) of your first cousin.
So you are actually related by blood, pretty cool (As long as it's not through marriage)

Hey Rhett,
Pretty cool that you're related to ole Stonewall, but would you mind correcting all the references to West Virginia? If I were related to Stonewall, I'd want my documentation to be as accurate as possible.

But we are all descendants from Adam & Eve acording to the Bible ... So one big Family.
This includes incest to populate the World. I love to study religious peoples faces, when asking this rather delicate question ...

Yes, we are all related. The Bible says from Adam, atheists say from primordial slime. As for incest, do keep in mind it wasn't taboo, for them, nor was it forbidden until Leviticus 18:6–18.
I have yet to find anyone famous (or infamous) in my ancestry research, yet, although we have reason to believe Elvis is a cousin of ours, somehow, as we are Presleys and Elvis was known to my great-great-grandma.
Elvis is not dead ... I am sure ;o) I come from an ordinary Viking Clan, a 1000 years old. Gorm the old and Harald Blue tooth ... And Svend "Devided beard" ... Red Worm, who discoverd America long before Columbus.
I think we shut claim it back Again ...

This somehow reminds me of collecting something like baseball cards (or similar things) and then showing them off in school to feel better than the other kids. It's almost like being proud of being born in a specific country, but I guess religious people could argument that it was god's (Odin's, Manitou's, whatever's) will that I was born in a rich country and that prick over there was born in some poor country, and he/she has deserved it.
The only thing that counts it what you do and your actions.
This post is just an expression of my thoughts which are of course subjective and wasn't meant to offend anyone.
