Do you guys have a communication project for the final release of WOR ? Cause i don't wanna blame it but 2912 backers might not be enough to get real big battles as expected.
Keep it up :)

By communication project, do you mean in-game voice chat? Because that has already been implemented in the game, you can see it in action here:

2912 backers is a huge number of potential players, who actually donated before the game is even released!
Other indie games started with half of the number or less.
Once the game is in closed alpha/beta, more webpages, gaming magazines and youtubers will talk about the game and more people will show their interest.
Then, with the start of the early access phase in steam + being able to buy it via steam shop, the number might get up to 50.000-100.000, before the game is even officially released.
Besides that, 2900 backers does not mean, that one server can hold all those 2900 players to play with.
Soo.. after all: 2900 backers, before the alpha tests started yet, is impressive and we are proud, that we have such a nice community yet.

I believe that is the purpose of the pledge tiers. But I wouldn't mind a little something extra for being here before it all exploded into a massive success... Nothing big though maybe just like an in game formal suit or something

I think it is too much to ask for a "reward" for "being here before it all exploded " as you put it. In fact I feel it is punching far above what you are owed. Those who chose to pledge particular ranks will get what they are due, no more and no less. You should feel lucky that the Developers have deemed the support and funding great enough to release the drill camp.

Says the gentleman who only joined last month.
At least he joined with a sizeable donation though.

He joined in 2015 not 16, he may have just donated last month though. It doesn't really matter, I was just pointing it out.

I am following the game since 3 or 4 years now i didnt registered directly cause i thought it was useless this is why i registered in january 2015
And men that was à rude answer :(
And I didnt ask the devs to buy us a house i was just thinking that it would be cool to have like a little in game badge in our character or beside our name to show that we were here since a while. Like the battlefield bad company 2 dogtag that you could play with in battlefield 3 if you had play the earlier game

If you're after somthing 'physical' in game. Then how about the pledge weapons you'll be wielding, or the uniforms you could be wearing?
I mean as an officer you'll have the Colt Walker M1847. That's a badge of rank enough I'd say.

Got me there

That's a different matter all together as Battlefield has been around for years and can do small things like that easily.
The time you've been "watching" or "supporting" the game should not matter. If that were the case then some people would start to demand more than other because they've been supporting for longer. Example, I joined in 2014 and you joined the forum in 2015. Though you say you've been watching it for longer I could start to claim that I'm owed more than you for being here longer. It is not an idea that is viable at all.

Besides, we will get our names in the credits if I'm not mistaken, that's pretty cool imo.

With the final game, you have the entire order of battle available for each battle.
Like 500+ different regiments to choose.

That sounds pretty awesome, but won't that get a bit messy if that's all in 1 list? Or have I misunderstood the way it will work a bit?

Why should there be one huge list?
An order of battle is working that way, different sub categories.
Army -
Corps -
Division -
Brigade -
Regiments

Never said I wasn't grateful, and a suit is nothing it just be a funny little item. For all I care they don't need to give me anything

I have been following WoR for about 1-2 years ever since finding out about it through North and South the Warband mod, I have been thinking about the communications for a long time and a few things have came to mind. The first being that there could be two types of chat Local and Server based, Local being people in your area and Server being everyone in that current server. If say like a Linebattle or some other event was starting where people wanted some level or realism then the admins of the server could switch off the server chat with exceptions for admin use. This would force people to make the effort to have runners move between companies and regiments giving orders and commands, just an idea which I'm sure many of you have thought as well.

Ah ok. I thought it would have been something like North & South.
But the way you're doing it sounds awesome, can't wait to see some screenshots!

Possibly similar to my Orders of Battle in the company threads.
