The A, B, C, D and E companies of 4th Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment are EU companies who aim to become one of the best Spanish speaking companies, we recruit anyone who can speak Spanish and is willing to obey commands as well as being as active as they can be. We aim to be one of the best battalion not only through skill, leadership and training, but also through our discipline in order to keep the battalion running well. Members of the companies will also be advised to use historical names. Also we will not only play WoR, we have a gaming community for other games such as M&B:Warband, Total War games and more.

|History|

The 4th Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment raised in Virginia for service in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. It fought in the Stonewall Brigade, mostly with the Army of Northern Virginia.

The 4th Virginia was assembled at Winchester, Virginia, in July, 1861. Its companies were from the counties of Wythe, Montgomery, Pulaski, Smyth, Grayson, and Rockbridge. It became part of the Stonewall Brigade and served under Generals T.J. Jackson, R.B. Garnett, Winder, Paxton, J.A. Walker, and W. Terry.

The regiment fought at First Manassas, First Kernstown, and in Jackson's Valley Campaign. It then participated in many conflicts of the Army of Northern Virginia from the Seven Days' Battles to Cold Harbor, was with Early in the Shenandoah Valley, and saw action around Appomattox.

The unit reported 5 killed, 23 wounded, and 48 missing at First Kernstown, took 317 effectives to Port Republic, had 7 killed and 25 wounded at Malvern Hill, and had 19 killed and 78 wounded of the 180 at Second Manassas. It lost forty-eight percent of the 355 engaged at Chancellorsville and more than fifty percent of the 257 at Gettysburg. The regiment surrendered with 7 officers and 38 men of which only 17 were armed.

Its field officers were Colonels James T. Preston, Charles A. Ronald, and William Terry; Lieutenant Colonels Robert D. Gardner and Lewis T. Moore; and Majors Matthew D. Bennett, Joseph F. Kent, and Albert G. Pendleton.

At the First Battle of Bull Run, Jackson reportedly ordered the 4th Virginia, "Reserve your fire until they come within 50 yards! Then fire and give them the bayonet! And when you charge, yell like furies!" This is possibly the first use of the Rebel Yell.

When Jackson set up his headquarters in Winchester, the commander of the 4th Virginia, Lieutenant Colonel Lewis Tilghman Moore invited him to use his house. His great-granddaughter, the actress Mary Tyler Moore contributed significantly to its restoration as the Stonewall Jackson's Headquarters Museum

We have a M&B regiment with 120 people. Also we plan to form a brigade with some 33rd companies. I've spoke with more than 300 people about this. In a few months we will be big enough

If he has the men the I don't see why they can't slowly increase their company numbers to eat up a full regiment. They'd have done it though hard work, not by suddenly sayings "we're reserving all this"

100% Sure we can afford those 3 companies with 15 men per company. 100% Sure we can have 2-3 more companies with the same numbers of people. Im concentrating all spanish players here. If no one takes other company from the 4thVA then I will take those companies each X time acording to my numbers and then try to have all companies from 4thVA. In N&S I merged 80 spanish in my brigade. Here im doing the same with all of them and more people.

I've had enough issues with people claiming more than they can so I'm a little on edge about it. Considering Tenford has, as I said, tried his luck before about claiming way too many companies I acted as I saw necessary. If he does have the numbers then he can show me via steam. I've given him the option to discuss it further with me and I don't doubt that he will.

There is no requirement apon forming a company to have to message a forum moderator on steam to prove you can do it, he can form them and should he be unable to run them then you can take action to request him to no longer use it, but you cant say he just cant make them because you have doubts, thats not how things work.

I'm doing this because he's done it before on two different occasions. I wouldn't bother about it otherwise. All I'm asking is simple proof of members and this can all be solved in a matter of minutes.
