I understand that the game is only in the alpha, but as of now, what is the maximum capacity of players on a healthy server?
What's the target maximum amount of players?

We don't know yet. Still a bunch of game crashing bugs to fix before we really can ramp up the player numbers.

The target amount, stated in the Kickstarter, was several hundred per server. However the drill camp has yet to have that many players on at once, meaning they don't know yet, and may not know for a few months.

I hope 400 per map or as close as to do these amazing maps justice, been on the drill camp with some other guys and dosen feel cramped at all.
I think it'll be between 100 and 150.
another CE3 Game Miscreated has just ramped up server numbers from 32 to 50 but that Game has item persistence and Base building etc, so realistically I think WOR could probably do 140-150 at a stretch.

Prob I say 100 to start and as the game gets better it will be up to hopefully 250-400 if it can get to 400 but more thank likely 100-250

I'd say that's the safest bet. We'd "stress test" the servers then and see how much they can handle.

Well Campfire games ad for an open server programmer position says they want at least 200 people per server so we have our minimum.
But what they want and what the Game Engine is capable of aren't the same thing.
Like for very 10 Players that's potentially 10 extra Clouds of Smoke (which seemed to be lagging things up quite a lot in the technical Alpha if fired at the same time).
