New York 3rd Brigade Color Guard

so you may be asking, why is there a form post for a color guard, just get someone recruited for you regiment as a color Sargent and say your done

well life doesn't work that way, line company recruit for line inf, the color guard recuites men for flying and protecting the color.

we have decided to do this because it will help separate people who want to play a certain class, like line inf and cav only. and people who want to play a more funner way, and live in the light, in the color guard, before events the Commanding officer will assign you to witch company you want to fly the colors for, this means from inf to the cav of the New York 3rd brigade.

there will be 2 different types of soldiers and purposes we need to fill, the color guards, the men to pick up the flag if the flag falls, and the flag bearer itself.

when you first join you will be put as a color guard, you will be trained like normal soldiers, but in all classes, but artillary. we will have 5 color Sargent in one event, one per company, but we want at least 3 color guard to protect the color Sargent. also the color Sargent will rotate at different events, we will have 5 Sargent going flag one event, and the next we may have 5 different ones.

the color guard also will consist of a band, consisting a drummer, fife, and anything else may be added

more ranks may be added soon, its just the main brigade doesn't believe that a color guard shouldn't get too much stuff, as it not that official, but i digress

the color guard will be its own company, it will have its own ranks, its own Commanding officers and will be complacently different from the main line and other regiments. it will also be able to sign up for events because before the color "guards" are assigned a guard rank they will be there own line, and all the recuites and soldiers who the other companies are not sure of will be sent to the color guard line
