Did some shooting at the range with 20thMaine NCO 1 using the Enfield. I backed off the target to what i figured to be 400-500m.

I started with the default iron sights here and was hitting pretty close to center. I wait until the sway reaches the center and fire during all these screenshots.

I then proceeded adjust my sight to 'whatever distance this is' and get a more precise shot. I then noticed this blasphemy!

So I continued to adjust my site and screenshoted the results.

There seems to be a problem with the adjustable sights and the default sight seems to be the only one you really need at this point. I don't know if bullet drop isn't working or the problem lies within the sights themselves. I hope this helps.

The flip up sight was for targets over 400 yd also aim a little bit over the center.

Yeh, they definitely don't work as they should.

You really don't need it to be flipped up at that range. However, the bullets should be going over the target since it is at a higher trajectory.

He's about 500m away though, not even close to the bar on the range. On normal iron sites his round should be hitting low.

At the bar i seem to be hitting bullseyes no matter what sight i'm using when just centering the sight on the bullseye. Seems unlogical to me

That doesn't seem right to me. The height of the trajectory should be between 500-600 yards since the max range is ~1200 yards depending on the load size. The higher up the sight you move the higher the muzzle goes.

At 400-500m (446-546 yards) with the iron sites the round shouldn't be hitting dead center, which it isn't, as the round is already beginning to loose some of the force behind it. Up comes the rear site to add a bit more accuracy to get that center mass hit and...well the pictures tell the story.

In short the rear sites are a little funky at the moment it would seem, the first added tab on it would make scene as he is over 500m.
