I have been looking for a good site that would sell some good uniforms and gear (guns, flags, belts, shoes, etc) for both the Union and Confederate and I was curious, where do you folks get your gear?

Are you looking for things to buy for yourself, or just to have a look at what's out there? Unfortunately, I can't help with guns or flags since I own neither. (I'm artillery, so the only gun we deal with is the big one!) Also, I only do a Federal impression, so I don't know much about who makes the best Confederate anything. Still, here are some of the sutlers I've used or heard about. Note that I write this list as someone who leans a little more on the "progressive" side with my impression. Since I don't know how to sew anything, most of my gear cost me a pretty penny. :(

Missouri Boot and Shoe (http://missouribootandshoe.tripod.com) - Footwear and leatherwork. I have a knapsack and haversack from them. Both are great. One day when I have more funds I'll get a pair of boots.
N. J. Sekela (http://www.njsekela.com/index.php) - Various goods. Super pricey, but I like his work. The first thing I ever bought of Nick's was his reproduction U.S. issue blanket and it's awesome.
Stony Brook Company (http://www.stonybrookcompany.com) - THE place to go for Federal trousers. He also sells assorted used goods on consignment, so sometimes you might turn up a good find there.
Sutler of Fort Scott (http://www.sutleroffortscott.com/oscommerce2/catalog/index.php?osCsid=4itvulegl26qp4q00o1ljf9t07) - Various goods. My favorite sutler for the little details that make an impression unique. Pocket New Testaments, bone handle toothbrushes, etc.... and my favorite, the pocket inkwell. Stock varies, so it's good to check back once in a while.
Olson's Tinware (http://www.olsonstinware.com) - Tinware. Sadly, my go-to tinsmith is no longer in business, but I've heard good things about Olson's.
L.D. Haning (http://www.ldhaning.com/index.php) - Leatherwork. Have not used them myself yet, but like Olson's I've heard good things. They seem open to custom work, too.
Wambaugh, White & Co. (http://wwandcompany.com) - Uniforms, shelter halves, some other miscellaneous goods. These guys make a really nice fatigue blouse/sack coat. Their trousers are also top quality, and they make federal issue shirts and drawers as well. If you know how to sew, you can buy a garment kit from them and so make your own sack coat or shirt or trousers at a fraction of the price.
South Union Mills (http://www.southunionmills.com) - Socks. Seriously, do not underestimate the power of a good pair of wool socks!!

Alternatively, you could use an all-purpose sutler like Regimental Quartermaster (http://www.regtqm.com/Default.asp) or C&D Jarnagin (http://www.jarnaginco.com). These don't necessarily cater to the "hardcore" crowd, but some of their stuff is pretty decent. If you're on Facebook, consider a group like the Civil War Trade Blanket or something similar; not only can you find used gear from the sutlers I've mentioned, but also some independent, individual makers advertise their wares there.

Everyone's got their favorite sutlers for whatever suits the needs of their impression or budget; these are just some of mine. Others I'm sure will have different, perhaps even better suggestions. Hope this helps!

These are all very good suppliers, I used to have a list that I would give to new recruits on who to buy from, you've basically covered them all. These are all high end vendors, so you will pay a lot more for the wares. Like was mentioned there are some other cheaper alternatives that have passable gear. If you're just starting out and don't have a lot of money to play with at first, try and browse sites like the Authentic Campaigner and look for good used gear. Ben Tart (www.bentart.com) is also a good supplier, I used to know him personally, good prices and good clothing plus he makes his own dyes.

Regimental QM contracts a lot of their uniform items, their firearms used to come from Dixie Gun Works, who specialized in defarbed weapons, but I'm not sure if this is the case anymore. They usually go to big events, definitely worth stopping by their tent if you see them.
