Sup gentlemen.
This is my first post, so I apologize if this question has already been posed on the forum, but I would like to know where you guys are from in the world? I realize probably most of you are from the United States, but I wonder how many other nationalities are to be found in this forum... If you are from the U.S. feel free to write your state and the name of the city in which you live.
I'll get us started: I was born and raised in Denmark, and I currently live in the town of Aarhus. I just returned from a six months internship in Iowa :-)

The funniest thing is that this is the second ACW game developed by non-Americans in a relatively short amount of time. The other one I'm referencing too was made by a Russian indie studio I believe. They only had 1 (ONE) American part-time employee to correct the in game texts.
I'm from the Netherlands by the way :) Nice to meet everyone.

Thank you. And yes, the all Russian + 1 American proofreader team was hilarious when I learned about it. What's more hilarious (or perhaps shameful) is that they knew the history of the ACW better than a lot of those American agitators you see in the media these days. Screaming and hollering something while understanding nothing of the history and historical persons they're so upset about. Most shameful for a US citizen in my mind.
Love to see a game like this in development. Now I have to decide how much to pledge
(btw, the other game was Ultimate General Civil War which is a RTS so no real competition to WoR)

The Lead Belt, it sure is!
I live ten minutes away from Warhammer World, it is both a boon and a curse. Warlord Games keep a decent stock of Perry figures and it's only a few minutes away from Warhammer World. I have some six pieces of artillery and crew to fix up once I've cleared my current painting table (Adeptus Titanicus).
Are you aware of Foundry over in Newark?

My condolences Sir,
I was up in Nottingham recently for a conference and couldn't help myself. I came away lighter in Pounds but much heavier in lead. Thank goodness the wife and kids were with me to act as a brake or I may have needed a second mortgage. Not often these days I feel like a kid in a candy store but I certainly did there.

Wargames foundry? yeah, cracking stuff, their triad paints are surprisingly good, used them extensively for my Napoleonics.
Damn near everyone I know is currently working on titanicus/blood bowl/shadespire or bolt action stuff.

I find 40K a bit of a drag to be honest. Many of the specialist games that GW have released or updated in the past couple of years have really reinvigorated the hobby. Shadespire and Kill Team are ridiculously fun and easy to get in to, low costs too. They also give an excellent excuse to pick up a warband or squad from another faction that you wouldn't otherwise touch. Blood Bowl never really died off, although it's not my cup of tea. Adeptus Titanicus will be my focus for a while now. I only need a couple of titans and the rules to have slug it out across the board - it's not all that cost prohibitive at all really.

It's been a long year since I played a game I will admit, but I do rather love collecting and painting some of the shiny models. on my table atm are some genestealer cult and Imperial knights, the knights lend themselves very well to airbrush work so i've been using them as a learning experience, rather happy with how they're turning out.

Adeptus Titanicus is another fantastic game that focuses on epic Titan battles, and it sounds like you're eagerly looking forward to building your Titan forces. It's a great choice if you're interested in large-scale battles without the same cost commitment as Warhammer 40,000. If someone also drew a driver's license it would be great at all, so far I've only found this https://fairyid.com/product/hawaii-fake-id/ office, any reviews on it? Collecting and painting miniatures can be an incredibly rewarding aspect of the hobby. It's excellent to hear that you're enjoying working on your Genestealer Cult and Imperial Knights models. Airbrushing can add a whole new level of depth and quality to your painting, and using the Knights as a learning experience is a great way to develop your skills.

Hi there!
Welcome to the forum! I'm from Texas, living in Houston. It's a great place with a diverse mix of people and cultures. Speaking of Texas, if you're looking for any guidance on buying a home here, you might want to check out a home loan officer in Texas (https://luckyhomeloans.com/). They can really help with the mortgage process, especially if you're navigating it for the first time.
Looking forward to hearing where everyone else is from! :)
