Yeah that happens to me whenever I start reloading when I'm still holding the right mouse button. I have yet to see if it looks normal in third-person though.

Happens to me too. I hold on to the right mouse button while I hit R and the reload starts then I let go of the right mouse button when he places the rifle-butt on the ground and I don't get the bug.
