Is that a house or a barn/shed? If it's a house there should probably a staircase lol, it could just be a hayloft though.
I've never been there so I don't know whats inside but it looks like a barn/shed.

I haven't been there, but if it's a farm this might be the reason:
Back in the old day the attic were often used as a place to store hay, and then when they needed the hay the farmer would send one of his farm laborers up and get the hay down on the ground. This was a long process (through the house) and because of this someone thought that i would be smart to have a door so they could just throw i out of that.....

Like everything we have in-game, such a house is based on authentic buildings at the Antietam battlefield, built with historic blue prints.
Its based on one of the springhouses of the Mumma Farm ;)

Them there ol'house builders were a humorous bunch. :)
Good to see that the high realism factor is still being implemented, nice one Hinkel.

Well learned something, that's for sure.
Little difference is that in the real house you have a little space, in the game one step means your straight on your behind if your not careful.
But the door makes sense now. thought your where still in a building process there :-)
American architecture eh? ;)

Yep, or it could be used for cold storage since it's a springhouse.
