I'm getting no audio from the soldier's footfall whilst travelling or his exertion whilst using the double quick movement with melee mode.

Noticed this today, you get the initial steps and then it's the ghostly travel mode. You can exit this combination and the normal audio returns. For me it seems to be when the two are combined.

Tried this on a couple of different terrain types and it seems to be the case for at least roads and wooded areas.

Can anyone else confirm the above?

Update:

It appears to be the case only for going forward. Strafing and walking backwards using this combination seems to have audio. Whilst walking forward and having the mouse direct the soldier seems to be quiet. However, if the soldier is already audibly tired the same audio continues but doesn't seem to get any worse.

Great for stealth at the moment. :p

Unless you do it for a little bit longer, the soldier does sound more exhausted over time. Just the footfall audio then.

This is correct. Doing double quick in melee produces a stealth soldier. ;)

This was fixed in the Oct 2016 update. Closing thread.
