An active new community. The Mount and Blade community now are just a bunch of trolls, the moderators on here seem to have it together and will hopefully kick off most if not all trolls. Hopefully this game truly makes you feel that you are in the time period (mid 1800s). So for me, community's and realism.
Looking down a line of soldiers in multiple companies and colours in a realistic environment. Seeing battlefields in the same way a participant in the Maryland Campaign would have done in this time period.
On a more morbid note, how quickly it takes for me to be incapacitated or killed. That often puts things into perspective for me, even if it's a game representing real historical events.

I hope to see all of those features in this upcoming game. I am positive the developers are working many hours a day to deliver a high quality, historically accurate, efficient game with an active, supportive community.
I can't wait to see the true scale that the Devs manage to pull off; especially with the amazing firing effects. Imagine 100's of those smoke puffs clouding the battlefield, before a cannonball tears through it, and then your own formation.

This is weird but I am interested in seeing if there will be an HQ at battlefields for the Generals/aides to stay at and plan attacks, positions, all that jazz.

That would be outstanding.
