Possibility this xmas?

Is there a possibility to see Beta this xmas? Or at least close to xmas? It would be a massive push obviously if u had other plans over at CG but i think it would be perfect. Like either a short period say 1 weeks period and then close it, gather inn the intel and feedback then u can bring up a much better time for you guys over at CG to release Beta full time (or for the time u need beta to be up)

Just a thought, if u guys can't do it then no worries, we will all understand.

The closed beta is really something different.

We are in the technical alpha right now, since may. Once the technical alpha is finished, we will start with the closed alpha, which is the skirmish phase 1. This closed alpha will also take a while, to add all the features and make it perfect.
The closed beta is skirmish phase 2, which is miles away so to say. We have no estimation for the beginning of the closed alpha, so we don't know any dates for the start of the closed beta ;)
