My favorite game that was released in 2016 was probably HOI4. Though I don't play it I do enjoy watching it daily! What about your favorite games?

All the games sucked. They were all terrible. There was nothing good about this year. All the good games teased this year are in 2017.

Other than BF1 and XCOM 2

My favorite game of the year has to be Battlefield 1. It was so good, the gameplay was so balanced and generally amazing to play.

Favorite game of all time has to be the 2009 World War Two game, The Saboteur.

The strategy genre had a pretty good year for gaming in an otherwise "meh" series of AAA releases.

Yeah, it's very sad how meh it was. All the good games were getting updates though, so that's good. 2017 looks more promising.

Has anyone tried Doom 4 and/or Shadow Warrior 2?

Has anyone tried Doom 4 and/or Shadow Warrior 2?

I liked the feel of Shadow Warrior( 2000 whatever one) because it was linear and hack and slash, and that's all I wanted, this one adds in upgrades for weapons like buffs and what not, it has good one-liners as always and it generally a good time to play, it's even got co-op if you wanted to play with friends. I haven't beaten it yet because I got it recently in the sale on steam, but I noticed you don't start off with the sword you spent the entire last game getting, which I thought is weird, sure it's overpowered, but it is essentially the best sword in existence.

as for Doom, I haven't tried it, looks neat, though.

and my favorite title of the year has probably been War of Rights, not to sound like a kiss-ass, but I have spent too much time reading up on this game and not worrying about playing others, I do however look forward to the new Red Dead game coming out.

I am looking out for Rising Storm 2, War of Rights, and DLC for BF1.
