Men of the the Confederacy. It is time to stand up and fight against Northern oppression and invasion. Company I of the 15th South Carolina is seeking able bodied men who are willing to stand up and fight to defend the great State of South Carolina, the birthplace of the Confederacy.
Brief History to Antietam
The 15th South Carolina's first battle occurred on Hilton Head Island, the Battle of Port Royal Sound on November 7, 1861. Following the Regiment's service on the coast of South Carolina, they were transferred to Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia (ANV) in July 1862. There, they served in General James Longstreet's first corps in all of the ANV's battles from 2nd Manassas forward, including Sharpsburg and South Mountain.
