So the idea is to add to the game honour/mercy points . For example if u will catch enemy soldier and if u will kill him your honour/mercy points go down but if u bring him to general alive your points go up. Next example if u see wounded soldier which doesnt want to fight and if u will kill him your points go down and if u will help him (give him water or something) your points go up. Join the discussion if u like :) and sorry for my English :)

I can't say I'm a personal fan of the idea. Sound too much like it's part of some odd story driven campaign with two types of endings. Sorry Zahari but it's a no from me.

No problem m8 :) it is just a discussion :D thats why it is "Suggestions and Ideas". Every opinion is important.

A system just like in AAA shooters where you get points for every action you make ? capture a point +100, kill + 150 and so on ? No sorry thats not what i want to see, since the gameplay will be motivation enough (those points are nothing more than a desperate attempt to make players do sth.) WoR does not need it.
There is nothing more motivating than teammates saying "well done" or am i wrong ?

You are right probably, i didnt think about it like you, but its true to many points is not good.

Dont get me wrong i am not totally against a reward system, for example getting an reward for capturing a point is a good thing :)

Yee i understand your point :) . Rewards for capturing points is a good idea :D but what kind of rewards the game should give us ? Maybe medals
BTW rewards are better idea than poinnts caise rewards are something visible etc.

Maybe via a separate interface in your character menu where certain awards/ medals are shown. For example: Medal "For Hellas !" capture a point with an bayonet attack....

No points for doing things but maybe like for example the "Karma System" in FarCry4... like if you show mercy you are recognized as a more merciful player where as if you slay every dirty rebel (or yankee, whatever you prefer) you will be seen as a more aggressive and merciless soldier. Also like if you for example lead a charge in which clears out an enemy position which saves the lives of two other regiments but you got wounded during the charge then you could get "medals" for your character profile, if there is one, so people can see you earned a purple heart here for this or a medal of honor/valor on this date for this reason ect. This idea has a lot of cool potential, but it needs to be refinied a bit more. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread :p

I would actually love a system that kept up with things like killing or capturing soldiers, killing wounded, ect. This wouldn't really affect the gameplay but it could just be in your character's information, and I really don't see why not.

If somebody needs such a system, i hope that those "points" or whatever dont pop up in my face every time i do a certain action....would break the atmosphere completely. I am not seeing any benefit for such a system and when its said it doesnt affect the gameplay why should it be implemented, but if somebody needs some points or a cookie for his actions i am fine with it.
My reward are yanks running away in panic ;)

Medals would be cool i think. Points will destroy atmosphere. Any idea for visible rewards not points ?

Maybe in your character screen (There has to be one or less most of this out be pointless) it can keep track and you can go have a look after the battle. You'll never fully know if you've killed or wounded somebody when you're firing mass volleys and the smoke blocks the view. Then if you're in a regiment your commanding officer can see how you did that battle.
It could be like this:
Last Battle: Antietam
Regiment: B Company, 13th Massachusetts, 3rd Brigade, Second Division, I Corps
Kills: 3
Wounded:2
Deaths:2
Points for battle: 300 <---for say helping take points and getting colours.

Thats what i have already said , just like in Bad Company 2 where you have tab showing your ribbons/ medals and what not...i would be fine with it, just keep those things away from the ingame action.

Oh of course. THERE SHALL BE NO POPPING OF POINTS ONTO SCREENS. I am also against this, but I think an honor system recording how you handle capturing enemies and such would be a neat thing to compare with friends.

Look I don't want the damn Rebs knowing where I am! I can't help it if my pistol has an accidental discharge whilst pointing at the prisoner.
