Since i am not sure about the copyright thingy, i am just posting a link here showing one of favorite photos showing three confederate POWs at Gettysburg. Just the way they standing there, still with pride and unbroken, shows much of the soul and characteristics of the soldiers of the south http://extras.inyork.com/yorkblog/cannonball/img/POW.bmp

I'm with you on that one! It makes it seem like its more like real life. When its in color it makes me think "Wow, those were real people, and that's exactly what they looked like" compared to staring at black and white images in a textbook :)

I've thought about that. It would need to be set in a major U.S city though like D.C or Atlanta. I actually think a game in Atlanta would be pretty cool considering the Union occupation and the burning of Atlanta. However knowing the traditional path that has been taken in the AC series, the Templar would probably be composed of mostly Confederates. Just a guess.

The Navy hired young teenagers–dubbed “powder monkeys”–to run gunpowder from the munitions room to the cannons. Said “monkeys” were as young as 12 years old.

Ah yes. The famous Robert E. Lee photograph. I think... I'm not positive... but I think that photo was taken just a few weeks or maybe months before the surrender. Poor old Lee had enough of war it seems :( He still knew how to dress like a southern gentleman though! :D
