My game would load in the drill camp and would work but when skirmishes came out I could maybe even load but I made it windowed and now it won't even load. I tried verifying and reinstalling but it wouldn't work. I can't switch back to full screen because it doesn't show anything.

I am having this same exact problem. Try joining a server by yourself and see if it works. Mine usually works that way. Definitely not a fix, however.
