British Historian Dan Snow, who have made a number of great documentaries over the last 15 years is lunching a news streaming service.

"HistoryHit.TV is a global video-on-demand history channel. It will be available on all of your devices, anywhere on the planet. Think of it like Netflix, but dedicated to world history. We'll bring you the best collection of great history documentaries. We'll also produce original seasons that will cover historical subjects in more depth than you've ever seen before."

They are running a indiegogo campaign to crowdfund it. The more support they get, the more stuff they can have on the site at launch.

So if anyone of you find this even remotely interesting I hope you will support the project.
Basically a support of 5£ give you one month of subscription... so a sort of preorder.

I watched the old series of warfare in the British Isles he did with his father. Pretty cool.

Yep. Battlefield Britain. That was when I first noticed him too.
They also made one about 20th century battles.

He made a lot of good stuff since.
His series about the royal navy is great. (Empire of the Seas)

I decided to support this project.
