Sounds great! You could probably make your work a lot easier though...the majority of these calls and tunes are already available online.

Pretty much every bugle call you would need. I'm sure the sound clips could be used.

These files are copy right protected :)
Besides that, you need a certain quality, to use them ingame.

Contact he owner and ask permission to use them temporarily... until you can get your own recorded in the needed quality.

Worst he can do, is to say no.

I'd be so very willing to do the Bugle calls, but I'm not UK :p, I'm Texan. But I've seen of a Germany based reenacting band, that is CW, so you might look into contacting them.

Do you have any plans to where in the world you plan to record it?

As stated in the field report: we'd prefer to do it in the UK but will consider elsewhere also. :)

Tom is located in the UK so naturally UK based musicians is preferred. Should that not be doable, we are ready to fly him out to a location to record (preferably all three instrument recordings in the same general area).

If you have some musicians in your reenacting group, he will be able to record them ;)

Very nice. Very happy about Hagerstown Turnpike as well. When will you add more Louisiana units to the game? Seeing as Many of the skirmish areas in game are areas that Louisiana fought at, (Dunker Church, West Woods, Hagerstown Turnpike, The Cornfield (when released).

I'm just really wanting to see some Louisiana regiments with uniforms other than the Zouave uniform. Regiments like the 9th LA would be great with their black trim on their uniform.

Great work devs.:D

Check them out, some top end musicians lead that school for the re-enacting community.

I second the need for a Banjo. Love the low thumping tones of a minstrel banjo. They were a staple of camp life and very popular in both armies. I was trying to play mine while kneeling under the Co. fly with the N key locked on. :)

In progress, like recording the bugle calls and such.
Once the coders have some free time (they are concentrating on more important stuff), we will get back to the musicians as well.

Point of interest - they aren’t his hands playing the banjo. It’s a professional player sticking his arms around him. I remember that from reading the Wiki about Deliverance. :-)
