Pretty cool!

I lived near Hotlanta for a year and a half. Lots of great places to visit.

I also lived in Richmond and Mechanicsville. 20 minutes in every direction was ACW historical heaven.

I had no idea there was a confederate family cemetery in my back yard until my wife found it playing pokemon go lol

Ive been there before. I once did a reenactment where we portrayed the Battle of New Hope but we did it at Pickets Mill. It was pretty cool. There were no spectators at this event so it was fun because we got to do our maneuvers without having to worry about any spectators getting hurt. Was a three day event. Wish I had pictures of it!

Back in the day when I was a pup and running around reenactment fields, I carried an old piece of equipment called a Kodak Instamatic Camera. It was just a tad bigger than the palm of my hand. I always took an injury and then once on the field, I'd pull the camera out .... :)
