View Full Version : Message to Secretaries of War

This Message is intended for the 9 members of the community who donated at the Secretary of War level.

I made a proposal to the Developers and they agreed to my terms but, with one proviso ...
I have to get unanimous approval from the 9 Secretaries of War.

Naturally, they can not provide me with the list of names, for Privacy's sake, so Mads suggested that I post this thread.

NOTE:
I will not discuss the matter publicly nor will I disclose their names nor information when they contact me.
So please don't ask.
I simply wish to make my pitch to the 9 and gain their 'Yes' Vote.

I would be extremely grateful if they would contact me by any of these means ...

Opening again (although moving it to general and not in companies section).

No need to be secretive about your intentions, Cooley. :)

He's looking for an option to purchase a secretary of war tier reward. We've told him we don't offer backer rewards outside of actual pledges but would be willing to let him purchase it on the condition that he gathers the acceptance of every secretary of war donator first.

Thanks for the move ... I wasn't quite sure where it went.
Heh not so much secretive as trying to respect their Privacy.

My offer to the Devs was that I will pay full price for the Secretary of War tier for ONE Item only ...
Playable Stonewall Jackson.

This will insure that the Items, Forum Tag, Credits in the game and any other perks will not be diluted or become of lesser value.

Their Condition, as stated above, is that I receive the Permission of ALL Nine Secretary of War Contributers.
I hope they can be so kind as to extend me this great favor.

Thank you

I just registered here on the forums because I saw your post. Yes you have my permission to get the Stonewall Jackson reward. I hope you eventually get the permission from the other 7 Secretary of War backers!

Good luck with your endeavor, but I must note that, thou one shall make an exception for one, make an exception for others. Community might not like this type of situations, as happened in a couple of other backed projects. Anyways, meet you on the battlefield :)

Thanks and yes some might not like the idea of my getting 1 feature for the full price but it is a minor one and my hope is the group of Sec Wars will be kind in this matter.

Thanks ... you are correct, as 10 is the magic number ... not sure why I miscalculated but appreciate the correction.

3 of 10 ... decent for a batting average but I need every Sec War on board so I hope the word gets out and the Yes's come back.

Well, I sincerely wish you the best of luck, sir! I admit though that before looking at this thread today, I don't think I've ever seen a Sec War on the forums, let alone two. They must all be busy doin' big baller stuff and what not...

The SoW's are limited to 9 - but an error caused it to still be an option when choosing to raise one's pledge. The issue should be fixed now.

We're sorry about any confusion this has caused.

Holy crap ... so I missed my window?
I could have snuck it in?
Meh ... no worries, as I would rather get it with a Blessing than by hook or by crook. heh
