I've been really interested in this game for a while now. It's in open beta now but it's due for release this month. It really seems to be giving people a EVE/Star Wars Galaxies feel, and I know both I and many of you on the forums are interested in those types of games. Only real problem I've heard of is that every now and then serious lag attacks kick in.

The Development Team are zealous and relentless when it comes to bugs and glitches ...
Everything gets solved/patched quickly and efficiently.

The real problem I see is going to be for the new joiners.
Those of us who have been playing BETA are well established ...
Skilled, Fortified, Armed to the Teeth and just now settling in for the Winter months.

When the next crop of players enters they will find Marauding Bands, Griefer Groups and Hunters of Noobs.
Land to Settle will be at a premium and resources are already being fought over as certain ones are becoming scarce in some areas.

This will put these players in the situation we saw in our Jail, back when I was a young Deputy ...
Join an established Group or be victimized by all Groups.

My suggestion would be to research the Guilds VERY WELL as many are in Alliances and Super Alliances.
Lastly ... Beware the Russians!
They are intent on subjugating all Guilds and have already begun to do so in the East.

This all applies to Avalon so if you join the new RP Server of Epleland your experience and mileage may vary. heh

I imagine everyone will just have to join/create a faction asap. I also have a feeling the resource shortages are deliberate inclusions by the devs to create conflicts.

We have a large group on the Eu server in Blood Pact if anyone plays eu personally im american here and i get good connection to the server ive been in 4 instance battles now so far and not encountered the serious lag that is passed around as rumor.
