Overview

Just like the real 2nd US Regulars we are mixed origin (international) company.
We tout a semi serious tone, we want to be disciplined but we want to have fun as well.
We have trainings at least once a week, and attend events at least once a week.
We aim to be mainly line infantry, with some skirmishers picked from the best sharpshooters in the company.
Currently 1st Platoon is the Oceania platoon, and 2nd Platoon is the American/ European platoon both of which will train and attend events together as much as timezones will allow.
As we expand we hope to open new companies within the 2nd US Regulars Regiment for each region.




History of the 2nd US Regulars


During the Civil War the 2nd Infantry fought in the early Battle of Wilson's Creek in Missouri and the first Battle of Bull Run.
The regiment was assigned to the Army of the Potomac and fought in engagements such as Manassas, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Fredericksburg, and Gettysburg.
The 2nd Infantry bears nine battle honors from the Southern Campaign through its 1869 consolidation with the 16th Infantry.
These honors were earned by the 16th Infantry: Atlanta, Chickamauga, Chattanooga, Georgia 1864, Kentucky 1862, Mississippi 1862, Murfreesboro, Shiloh, and Tennessee 1863

Are you Active??? I have been playing for some time and don't recall seeing any of the 2nd US. I am a member of the 2nd US reenacting unit. I also have been playing with the 16th Me, but they are not playing very much. What is your schedule like? I might be interested in joining.
