I'm having an issue when the server has a high population (over 50 players) I get stuck on the map loading screen. I can hear gunfire from the game but I never get to the join faction screen. Here are my system specs:

Lenevo Y50 i7410HQ 2.5 ghz 8 gb ram. Ninvidia GTX 860m 2gb ram. I'm able to join an empty server though. I have reinstalled, rebooted, checked file integrity etc. Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks

You're not alone. It's all a part of being in alpha. The team's working on it, but it's a part of the experience for now. More often than not, I'm able to get in on large matches, but occasionally it takes a couple of tries. Once I'm in, it's usually seamless continuing to next matches though, so if you have a problem getting in at first, keep trying and hopefully you'll be stable once in.

I had this almost same exact issue, I do not know what eventually cleared it up for me though. Maybe a patch or update? But when I was having this issue I asked Trusty what is wrong what do I do, and the best thing he could suggest is to get a better graphics card. My original one only had 1gb vram. I don't know if that would help you or not, maybe attempt if you haven't already to play all on low settings give it a try.

If it still does it then, I suggest to message Trusty or another developer, and answer any questions about the issue you have. I cant really give the clear answer or not if another graphics card will help because, my issue cleared up right before I installed my new one. However, I will add that with my new graphic card I have not had any issues at all with the game besides the normal crash every now and then. I still play on low settings even with my new card, my old one was a Radeon 7770 1gb vram.

I replaced it with a gtx 560 4gb vram, I went for more vram because my buddy said that might be the issue if the screen just goes black. My knowledge is limited, I feel for you try to keep hope. I had this issue for like 2 - 3 weeks. (Edited) I also thought have you ruled out possible connectivity issues?? Anyhow good luck man.

I'm running a 980ti with 6G's, and I haven't gotten past the map loading screen in my last 20 attempts. I've tried all three graphic representations (Low, Med, High) without success. My loading problems have only been since the last patch. Pre-patch was golden!

Then maybe that dev was wrong telling me I needed to get a better GPU, and its all on their side because they need to patch this stuff.

I have exactly the same issue with a good laptop. I cant even enter a battle. I understand the somewhat low amount of people playing the game being difficult to find any matches but being stuck to a loading screen for 60 dollars i find it a bit too much. Just got the game today and im not able to even go into a server. Hope they can give some insight to this.

I've played this game with gtx 650 ti boost, that's and old old card. Ran the game fine besides the crashing. Bought a new one 970 gtx, game still crashes here and there but more often with the new patch, 95% of the time when I join Harpers ferry. I've noticed when map is loading my FPS starts out at 140 then 80 then jumps to 1500 then 500 then it drops to 1 that's when the crash happens for me, sometimes I can get past that but 80% of the time I cant. If I crash 2 times in a row, I just delete game and re install. Try installing it on a different drive, that may help.

Is this on the Harper's Ferry or Antietam map rotation?

I have found when the crickets and chat is loading it then freezes. I have tried deleting the game files and re-installing the game. When I do that it works but only once. If I do leave the game i have to reinstall it every time. I have also had where in loading the screen cuts out back to windows. After 2 or 3 times trying to load again it does go into the game. This happened after the update 100.

Thank you for the report.

We are currently investigating the seemingly increased crashes the past few updates have introduced.

Having to delete your game files is not a solution - it's just a coincedence it's worked for you when you've tried it.

Please use the error reporter at: https://warofrights.com/ErrorReporter whenever you experience a crash. Your log files (especially with a detailed description of the issue are very much needed by our programmers in order to solve the issue). :)

I'm getting quite a lot of crashes while trying to join games, myself. It's a bit frustrating that I have to sign out of Windows and sign back in (which is one step from having to restart my entire computer) whenever it happens. Also, I'm getting some weird, inexplicable lag on Antietam during late afternoon -- my framerate is high for a little while, but then drops to ~15 FPS or less for a little while, and then goes back up to normal again. It hasn't ever happened before, so maybe the in-game time of day has something to do with it.

First without an accurate description of your system specs, it's near impossible to say what your problems are.

Second, your statement saying that you have to sign out then sign back in being a near reboot of the system, might indicate that you are missing the rather simple 'Ctl-Alt-Del' function of the 'Task Manager'. Locating the WoR.exe and ending the task. No signing out required.

Thank you for the report. We're currently investigating the reported drops of performance. Any more info able to be provided by anyone who's experiencing it would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :)

Interesting.
I had this exact issue last night but wasn't entirely sure if it was my system at fault. I too saw a massive FPS drop from a constant 60 right down to single-digit numbers, and it was late-afternoon on Hill's Counterattack too. Even on the 150 man events I tend to see a solid framerate, the tanking is a new thing.

I'm going to monitor it for a few more days and see when and where it occurs.
