The Grand Army of the Republic is an idea that spawned from the need for collaboration between Union companies. This is not an attempt to create a larger unit instead it is an attempt to bring together independent units to collaborate on standards, strategies and most important to forge relationships between Union Companies. If you have any questions related to the organization or have an interest in joining this organization please reply to the thread.

Not on the Union side that I know of. I see there is another group but I don’t think it’s active being the last post was a year ago

As the newly appointed Captain of the 72nd Pennsylvania today on May 17th, 2018 we will be leaving the Grand Army of the Republic Association. Best of wishes and good luck!
