What O.S.? What version of drivers?

This additional information will help categorize errors as well.

Not to sound persnickety or anything, but I've been using Windows 10 since it came out, even on a machine built with 2002 technology, and I have never seen windows 10 blue screen an error.

That sounds like a system situation.

If the blue screen displays information, I usually write it down and google it afterwards … sometimes it sheds some light on things.
But not all blue screens are informative :)

Very good suggestion Red. I usually do the same.

But because I've had Windows 10 since it's release and never seen a blue screen of death by that O.S. I surmised that Microsoft had done away with it. So I did a bit of a search after posting my earlier comment, it appears that Windows 10 still does the blue screen thing, and according to the net, millions of people have experienced it. But what I also found interesting is that there were a couple lists of what could cause such an incident.

I was quite surprised:

THIS (https://www.wikihow.com/Fix-the-Blue-Screen-of-Death-on-Windows) web page topped my search. Lots of things to consider.

Good Luck with it.
