I return once more with small corrections, this time, for the descriptions of regiments in the game. I reviewed all of the CSA regiment descriptions and compiled a list of grammatical, not historical, errors that should be corrected with the provided corrections.
5th Alabama
Gaines’ mill is Gaines” Mill, and harper’s ferry is Harper”s ferry
3rd Arkansas
wasn’t is wasn”t
13th Georgia
Miller’s Cornfield is Miller”s cornfield
18th Georgia
Dunker church is Dunkard church, which is not wrong, all other mentions in the game uses Dunker so I personally would keep it consistent
1st Georgia
Where it says “At Antietam following the battles in the Miller Cornfield, the 1st Georgia…” should have a comma after Antietam
6th Louisiana
where it says “In the midst of June, 1861 the…”, there should be a comma after 1861
where it says “the leftovers of the regiment was only fifty two strong”, should be were instead of was
2nd Mississippi
The quote from General Bee about stonewall Jackson should have a period after it
14th North Carolina
Seven Days Battle is Seven Day”s battle
“Equally their candor…” should have a comma after equally
2nd South Carolina
Seven Days Battle is Seven Day”s Battle
3rd South Carolina
“By April they were recognized…” needs a comma after April
Holcombe Legion
“However the battles” needs a comma after however
1st Texas
“The ten companies” worth of men..” should be “The ten companies worth of men”
there should be a ‘were’ before organized
Miller”s Cornfield should be Miller’s Cornfield
4th Texas
Gaine’s Mill should be Gaines’ Mill
5th Texas
“Unlike their brethren, however, the trees affored better cover than the bloodbath to their left, and were able to escape the battle relatively unscathed…” should read “Unlike their brethren, the trees afforded them better cover than the bloodbath to their left, and they were unable to escape the battle relatively unscathed…”
13th Virginia
there should be a comma before “Thomas J. Jackson, who…”
“...their ending numbers was a paltry sum of 65 men”, should be were, not was
30th Virginia
Seven Days’ Battle should be Seven Days Battle
“...the 30th were originally…” should be was
Dunkard Church should be Dunker to keep it consistent
“, while farther to the northeast the sound of Sedgewick’s Union troops as they were entrapped by several brigades of Confederates” should be further and not farther and have a comma after northeast, but in general should be rewritten since it doesn’t make sense
33rd Virginia
there should be a comma before and after “for the majority of the war”
5th Virginia
Harper”s Ferry should be Harper’s Ferry
“were commanded by” should be was and another were
22nd Virginia
Messed up title in the description
There should be a “was” before organized in the first sentence
Remove the comma after “infantry” in the second line
Harper”s Ferry should be Harper’s Ferry
A.P. Hill”s should be A.P. Hill’s
pressures should be pressure in the fifth line
There should be a comma after “December of 1864”
1st Virginia Battalion
In general review the whole description, especially the first half of it, lot of odd sentences and typos
