Long time ago I joined Secession mod the.
First mod before North and south came out that time I was In the 69th, then after some fights in the community I joined 15th Alabama, under the Command of Jannik ...... close before the begin of North and south I left the community and went back to Napoleonic wars.
After some times I went back and joined the new formed N&S community the UA and joined the 24th Michigan (Iron brigade)
After some times again I joined into Brigade staff worked myself up from a Staff Sergeant to Cpt ..... then long time nothing special happened...then the Brigade Gen Shaw got inactive and I to over the command of the Brigade for nearly a year..... in the end I got promoted to 2nd Division General....some time passed by again and I had some stuff to do in real live ( new work new girlfriend building a house) NOW i´m here ready to help and be with this awesome community and be in a Regiment again :D

Long time ago I joined French Voltigeurs reg. I don't know what was it's name. After a year he disbanded it. Me and other teammates still don't know why he did it to this day.
After a month or so leader of 66.Pp invited me to their reg. I played with them a few events, but then I stopped coming to Line battles, trainings, and they kicked me out. Now Im not at any reg, because im no more interested in NW. It became boring, I think
I didn't join any N&S reg yet, but I would like to bring Czech and Slovak community to it and create own regiment, and to WoR too

HAhahA, you changed from "For North & South and BCoF" to War of Rights. Wanted to ask if you will ever change that.
And yes, sadly Whigs and Tories died almost month after it.
So here is mine regiment history:
NW:
- 54th Regiment of Foot (was renamed few times)
- 4th Royal Foot of Arty
NaS:
- Friends clan (idk how called because that was back in the day)
- 3rd Arkansas
- Friends clan again ;)
- 19th Louisiana Volunteers ---> renamed to 16th Alabama.

We're not so much to be considered a 'regiment' but more as a collective, or a social group of friends. Many of us have shared a beer, or a tent, with one another at some point, and even traveled across Europe to do the same. I suppose we're most well known for the Lucky Dogs 'Pike and Shotte' (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,217806.0.html) Deluge group, followed closely by the No.504 'County of Nottingham' Squadron (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,316379.0.html) for IL2: Cliffs of Dover. I'm sure you can see the levels to which we go to for immersion and role play purposes, it's quite exacting and precise.
We're looking forward to participating in War of Rights as a small Confederate regiment, although I'm sure we can extend our hospitality to public folk who wish to fight alongside us in a similar manner to our 'Hoary Hounds' (http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,307198.0.html) Deluge group.

I only attended one NaS battle as a merc... that is how I found out about War of Rights a loong time ago.
But mainly my home is in Napoleonic Wars.
Joined the 4thRI, stayed with them for about 2 months.
Joined 47thHR, they disbanded after 6 months I was the only officer (a Captain) that was still active, the colonel dissapeared, ect.
Was "sold" by my colonel to the 8th, left that same day.
Fast forward 4 months, joined the 8th (Different 8th) Queen's Royal Highlanders.
All went well. Colonel was a drug dealer, ran into some trouble, disbanded the regiment, story over.
Fast forward a couple months. Got back in touch with some friends from the 8th and the 4thRI, they started the 7thGBO (forgot the first version). Lasted a long ass time. Our colonel got depressed, said he wasn't a good leader, left, joined the army. Haven't heard from him since. But my one friend took over as colonel. The lt. Col hated me for some reason, as did the other LTs... I went on vacation, came back, they disbanded.
Fast forward 5 months. I get a message from a friend saying that the 7thGBO reformed as the 7thABO and i was never sent a message telling me they reformed. So i got in touch with the colonel, he said that the lt.col was suppost to inform me... and that I declined. So we got that worked out and i was there for a week, until the lt. col and the lt (now a major) started giving me some shit so I left.
Started a regiment the glorious Nr69 with my friend, to stop reg drama and all the shit that goes on in the regiment community. he left, now i'm the colonel... and we are doing great :)
Happy ending.

Founder of the 13th Prussian Rifles, led them undefeated for months (as both Skirmishers and proper Line Infantry once we grew too big) until I quit MM and they became the 13te.
N&S, I formed the 13th Tennessee Infantry Regiment (13TIR) as well before leaving, shortly after the group crumbled.
Edit: I was also part of the 4th for a while. They had nice burgers so I shot stuff for them.

Yes, that would be the 13te from the Prussian Army. Back when I founded it, we weren't known as that, as I mentioned. It was after I left and Dr. Taco "took over" that it changed to the 13te. What they did after that I have no clue, nor do I truthfully concern myself with it.

NW:
.9e (a glorious cav regiment, 2 months)
.4thCS (the 9e reformed as a line infantry regiment, 1 year)
.22y (me and my friend formed a regiment because 4thCS was slowly disbanding, we did this to provide a home for the disbanded troops of the 4thCS, 4 Months)
.67th (we reformed the regiment, adding different areas to the regiment like arty and cav and removed the trolls of the regiment :P , 9 months)
.65y (we once again reformed to spice things up a bit, but tensions started to grow between me and my friend, 2 months)
.Obscure regiments ( i cant remember these regiments names but i mostly went around helping small regiments become more efficient and met a lot of new people along the way :'), 3 months)
.62nd (this was the regiment that made me feel at home again, i made many friends and is one of the best experiences ive had on the game and in gaming in general, 6 months)
.79th (sadly the 62nd slowly crumbled away with the loss of leaders due to loss of interest, but the 79th was formed by the remaining members of the 62nd, it did not last long though :'( , 1 month)
and that is it so far, many sad and happy moments in my past regiments, but today is a happy day because my old regiment the 62nd has come together once again rallying around war of rights with almost all the original members. let the happy days continue!

I'd also say it shows an inability to remain in a single unit. In 4 years of NW I've been in 5 units EU side and 4 units NA side. I'd would look that his massive spread of ranks and units with serious suspicion.

it's possible those units disbanded, or the mods died, such was the case with many of my own regimental or group experiences, the only regiment i've been a part of that hasn't disbanded yet, was the 5thGA or TTR(yet i'm new to that).
and Bravescot i think it is time we end this discussion here, it seems we are getting a little off topic for a post about what regiments we are from. Maybe someone will make an argument thread one of these days.

"The more regiments the better" is not the mindset to have. Listing 30 regiments that someone has been in is not attractive at all, and would repulse me more than anything. It shows way more negative traits than positive.

"The more regiments the better" is not the mindset to have. Listing 30 regiments that someone has been in is not attractive at all, and would repulse me more than anything. It shows way more negative traits than positive.
Thank you yoyo. I for one prefer a couple of regiments with clear evidence of long and loyal service listed than 20 different regiments listed including for mods that don't even matter.
Do you want me to list my past experience on here to show what I mean?

Like the majority of the regiments I have joined have been for 2 reasons, 1 to find a base regiment I can stick with in the community or 2, to help a friend (3rdKGL allows double regging so I could help my friends whenever the 3rd didn't have an event). But the thing that gets me is when people list a bunch of regiments they've had NCO or CO in and the number is above 5. At that point you're just being given your rank and it shows nothing in terms of hard work and dedication to your group. Whats even worst is when popular community figures expect to be given promotions faster than long term members.

I'd also say it shows an inability to remain in a single unit. In 4 years of NW I've been in 5 units EU side and 4 units NA side. I'd would look that his massive spread of ranks and units with serious suspicion.
Actually Bravescot if you were not so rude you would understand that regiments disband. For instance the 151st was disbanded by the col Ghost because it was to large for him to control, the British Grenadiers became the 52nd Lights and then became the British Grenadiers again. Secession and NaS were becuase of either name changes mergers or just disbandment. You of all people should know this. You manged the FSE boards.

My boy there!
As for me, I've been in so many NW regiments I'm not even gonna name them all. Most notable ones however are the 44th as a Captain and the 18e as Chef de Bataillon.
North and South was a good meme, Colonel of the 63rd N.Y and then went on to become Major General of the Union Army for a while.
