I'm sure this has been posted, probably many time before, but my Search skills appear to be lacking, so please forgive me.
Sure, everyone hates being team killed, often at times, it's spammed in chat. What I'm interested in hearing from you, the player, is how would you like WoR's developers handle TKing?
First, my personal opinion on the matter. I personally like the possibility of getting TK'ed. War is hell, gentlemen. Sometimes, the battle gets so intense, mistakes are bound to happen.
To combat TKing, we need to encourage the new/veteran players to train and work on combat discipline. What I find more disturbing than the accidental TK's are the REVENGE TK's.
Revenge killing to me is more of a concern. Accidental team killings are bad enough, but the revenge team killing is adding fuel to the fire.
The other day, I've seen two players (I will not identify the players) kept repeatedly killing each other because one accidentally killed the other.
In your opinion, how do you think Campfire Games should handle the current state of Team Killing? Leave as is? 3 strikes your kicked? Eliminate TK ability altogether?

I like the current kick system is fine, I would like to see them implement a temp ban system for people who are kicked multiple times for it to prevent greifers.

The current system is a combine kick and temp ban system. The user is kicked when reaching a certain amount of team damage dealt within a certain amount of time and is unable to rejoin the server for quite a while after.
It is planned to give the user a warning when he is close to being kicked/temp banned as well as publically announce kicks/temp bans due to TK'ing in the chat to everyone when they happen in the near future.
Once those two features are in we might experience with increasing the dropoff time - meaning the system remembers your team damage for a longer period of time than it currently does.

Nice, I didn't know the temp ban system was in place yet.

Same! I love the notification and temp bans.

Would be awesome to have like some sort of Stockade that repeat offenders go to for a predetermined time period based on the amount of the offense.

Like a penalty box. They can go for 2 minutes and feel shame.

It would be better if we could pelt them with heads of lettuce and tomatoes.

thing is the rifles are integral to the model so if we put them in the stockade they'd just kill each other and lose tickets.
best to kick and temp ban, though I'm yet to see this happen in game, likely i'm too busy getting shot at to notice.

How about paying a bonus to the "real" soldier that shoots anyone who shoots an officer. We could tie them onto a wagon wheel, spread eagle for the duration of the game... The shooter, not the guy who gets the bonus...

The only way to deal with trolls is to ban them diligently so people know people are getting banned. It's the wild west right now. A simple "Player Asshole has been banned" system message, whether from an autoTK limit or for a admin initiated ban.
Please for all that is holy at least have the option of making admin actions anonymous to non-admins. It's ten times easier when trolls just start getting banned and their friends don't start following me around trying to get their friend unbanned or arguing in the chat. Or hangers-on and friend requests up the ass. And people behaving better around admins because they know who they are while the masses are left to deal with trolls without admins around. The fear of anonymity is a force multiplier that some won't appreciate but it's the greatest tool to keeping things under control once players are on your server and see people banned when they act up or have been banned themselves previously.
Let me say you can rehabilitate trolls, but only through bans. Not through warnings or threats. That's amateur hour stuff. If they do it in the first place, they'll damn sure do it again when they don't think they're being watched. The only significant to deterrent is to leave them guessing when they're being watched, to track bans and track repeat offenders.

It would be cool as an option to send people to a stockade but in the end they're just taking up space on the server and it's more to have to code and add all the exceptions. I've dealt with denial-of-service attacks and leaving a troll in the server in some kind of in-place punishment is just a recipe for disaster. Believe it or not, people do that stuff. And they never get caught and nobody pursues them.
