Okay, so I bought this game about 2 days ago, superexcited (still am), but about every second game, everything around me freezes. People stop moving and shooting. They just stand still. I thought the reason would be my poor internet connection, but that was not it. Furthermore, I can still hear officers yelling orders at me. Am I the only one with this issue?

List your specs.
Send error reports to devs.

Intel Core i5-8300H 2,2 Ghz (4.0 Ghz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 max-q technology
8gb ram
I donīt think my specs are the problem. Iīve just had 3 games in row that went just smoothly (1080p/medium/40-60fps). Needless to say that the number of players in these games did not exceed 100. This server freeze think is more of a contingency than something that i experience everytime. Itīs just weird. However Iīve already sent error report to the developers. Thanks for reply.

does it unfreeze after 10 seconds or so? or is it locked in place until you end the game?

You could kick up your ram, 16 minimum.
Also make sure all your drivers, O.S. &etc., are updated and current.
Comparing games is unbalanced logic in this case. CFG in their programming are using the latest in technology that will tax your machine. The Cryengine engine is notorious for this. Other games use lesser technology.

I dont think this is system related, as I never experienced these freezes prior to the latest Patch. I experienced two last night, as did a teammate. Teh screen freezes, as if crashed but then seconds later all is well again.
My system easily runs this game, using a i7 7700k, GTX 1080 16gb DDR ram, latest OS & drivers.

Ah so this is what i've seen myself, i've been getting this since just after early access release, it's not all the time but it does happen mostly on euro1 i can't tell if it's the server or the amount of people on there, it's like a lag spike but my connection is stable and fast, i know it isn't that.
i reckon it'll get patched out at some point.

I was that very teammate. I can confirm that I've not had the same problem before and agree it appears like a very long lag spike but no loss of audio. The server was not massively populated, fluctuating between 35 and 40 or so players per side.
Also, I have to raise it again, cancelling reload seems to be awfully temperamental and I had issues cancelling quite early into the animation.
