Hello,
Based on my experience and vision, I would like to offer a couple of ideas.
Another language speaking forum.
I am from Russia and for my lads, who don't know English we are in need of Russian forum, so they could communicate, tell others about their experience and other stuff there. But this is not an excuse, but my personal observation. In the War of Rights, many people who are playing the game, those speak German, French or other languages are also having problems with understanding English. If administrators could give me category on forums for Russian players, From my part, I could fill it with useful information about the game, create a topic with technical assistance for Russian players and keep in touch with them. It is worth noting, that most international games and servers have sections with other languages. It helps to create a pleasant atmosphere for players who feel bad, like me, understanding English. Also, if people don't have to create separate forums or groups in social networks, they will provide attendance at the forum and activity.
Moderators assigned to the categories on forums.
The forum now needs moderators, that are assigned to categories. For each category, you need to create an information topic, a topic with suggestions, a topic with problems. We need topics with complaints in a separate section on the community, so that the most inadequate players can stop from violent behavior in the game. And in case of an error, this problem can be eliminated.
Each moderator will maintain their own category. It's possible that there will be several moderators assigned to the same category. They will observe active topics, following the rules by the users, as well as clean the dead threads by sending them to the archive. Deleting, locking topics if it's necessary.
Senior moderators are structure of all moderators and administrators — It is necessary to create topics with all the information about existing administrators, moderators and who's doing what. Make rules for moderators. Provide them with responsibilities.
Establish the position of senior moderator who will monitor the performance of duties of lower-level moderators. Senior moderator can be considered complaints of ordinary moderators, as well as in addition to control, implement the policies of the developers themselves. Free developers from the forum. Transfer responsibilities to proactive people.
We will immediately see that the forum will begin to flourish, and the developers will not be distracted by petty problems and will be able to keep working on the game.
Technical topic about problems with forum — This topic should be divided and not mixed with the game, cus they have a different priority and stuff. At least, I know for sure that I have rights problems. And while I could not solve this problem so far, unfortunately.
Maybe, later I will add something in addition, but for now, this is what came to mind. I hope for an adequate response from other users. I look forward to suggestions from others on the forums, as well as critics of my list of proposals.
