Historiquement, le Washington Light Artillery est une unité de Louisiane appartenant au I Corps Longstreet.

We are pleased to announce the creation of the washington light artillery.
This French-speaking artillery battery will be associated with the 4th Texas infantry C "R. Five Shooters", constituting the French Battalion "Beauregard" of the 1st Corps.
Historically, the Washington Light Artillery is a Louisiana unit belonging to the I Corps Longstreet.
(for the record, it is still active).
