Picking up flags and surrendering.

Will there be a way to pick up the flag if the Color bearer dies? Also, will there be a way to surrender? In my opinion it should have the same results as dying, just less gruesome.

If the color bearer for a person's regiment died, another soldier would pick it up and continue. However, if an enemy's flag was captured, it was more of a sign of glory and victory, not so much as a taunt.

When you say pick up the colors reminds me of a doc I watched where 12 people died trying to get to the colors

The color bearer concept seems like a good concept of a Capture the Flag type of game. I know the game isn't about that but it'll be kind of cool of another way of winning a match.
