I reccomend you try to reach out to game medias, ask youtubers to cover the game. You want as many people spreading the word to as many people as you can. We still have around 40k to go... If everyone in this community wants this game to be a reality then we all have to talk to as many people as we know. If you know a youtuber tell them. If you know someone who has connections, tell them. Even if they are a nobody, TELL THEM. The 1,425 people who have already pledged can't keep raising their pledges. I rose mine around 40 bucks... I can't raise any more.
This has to be a group effort. We can't just sit back and hope for a surge of donations.
Even if you're pledging one dollar. It still helps.

Thank you for your efforts, we need every help we can get!
We contacted a lot of youtubers so far, but most of them aren't interested in the war or would like to have a playable version instead, to record footage themself. This is sadly not possible for the moment.
We need youtubers like those, who are willed to help ;)

That is a shame, I'm trying to tweet and contact everyone I know.
10 days left. I'm really wishing for it. Its a shame though, over 100,000 people watched those two videos combined. If everyone of them donated atleast one dollar we'd be at the goal :(
I guess it is back to work. More people to convince to fund.
Thanks for the response though. Truly appreciate that you guys are very active with your community.

Hi guys, I am new to the forum.
I noticed the kickstarter about 2 weeks ago as I was browsing through youtube videos. I am a casual gamer, and a military enthusiast. I am not going to lie, but sorry to say I would have never noticed this game even existed if it wasn't for dumb luck. Guess I just happened to come across the video that was in my recommended tab. Needless to say, I really liked the concept of the game and made a captain pledge. However, I honestly think people just don't know that war of rights is even a thing, I didn't.
Moral of the story, I just got here and seen a lot more creepy, and weird games achieve like 400% on kickstarter, so there is absolutely no reason why this kickstarter campaign should fail. Just my thoughts, but for my share I will recommend somebody reaching out to the site http://themess.net/forum
Basically that site if probably the largest community of military enthusiasts that I know. They recently moved over to the mess maybe like 2 months ago, after switching from militaryphotos which had a truly massive user base with over a million posts, and hundreds of thousands of threads.
Hope that helps, and look forward to playing.

Alot of kickstarter campaigns that i see far exceed their goal usually have a build that may be very buggy but playable, so they will invite popular youtubers to play it and spread videos on it. Unfortunalty for war of rights its not that far along, which is why they need the money.

Obviously I cannot speak for all Youtuber's only myself.
Whilst a playable version would be great for us to make our own videos about and that is the ideal situation it is far from required. What is required however is some semi-concrete information on key points of the game from a playability perspective.
By which I mean things such as player numbers, you have laid out your "command and control" system which sounds great and very inventive. The way it is worded implies large numbers of players on each team where by a General leads multiple colonels which in turn control sizeable regiments of players (hence the need for NCOs). The reality of that however could very easily be two "regiments" of 10 people, which is VERY different from 5 regiments of 50 people. Information like that gives people the ability to fundamentally visualise how things will play out and get excited for the project far more than some nice graphics and an interesting setting.
Without information like that all you are really recommending is people throw money at an open ended idea. Obviously it is understandable that developing to that point takes money and resources which you are attempting to use this kickstarter to acquire. But equally you should understand from the YouTuber's perspective they are putting their reputation and potentially viewers money behind what is essentially an unknown quantity. I am sure you will find some very happy to do that, don't be surprised when you find those who aren't.
My own personal stance is entirely hinged on that player count, I have yet to see a Cryengine game that stands up to the numbers of players being implied (without fancy measures such as draw distance limiting to reduce load that would be game breaking in this setting etc). Get a video out showing what the game can comfortably run with and I would be behind this project 100%, it doesn't have to be a playable copy to YouTuber's themselves just some form of evidence that isn't a carefully sculpted trailer.

Thank you for your thoughts!
As I've said earlier, there's a reason why the first playable test version is about six months away if we do get funding. Some core systems still need to be developed and in order to be able to achieve that we need funding. That being said, we are open to interviews and have done a few and will be doing more so stay tuned for those as well as the Kickstarter updates which we'll ramp the amount up of come next week.

Why don't you go on and leave a thread in like the off topic area. It wouldn't hurt.

I would also try with Angry Joe, this seems just like the type of game he'd promote. I really, really recommend trying talking to him about it.

Done, hoping that within 6 days we can fund this game... especially if everyone helps.
