Question about the DRM-free copy

So the kickstarter backer rewards state that you will receive a DRM-free copy in addition to a steam copy.

So will this be a copy tied to some kind of account that you can just use free of steam, or is it an extra copy that is DRM-free to send to a friend?

It is, also you can give the steam copy too, unless they register the steam copy to your account but it's probable they will send a key to your e-mail or something like that

Digital Rights Management . Basically you do whatever you want with the game, trade, sell, borrow, install everywhere without having steam, origin or uplay or other 3rd party software to run it
