Ah, hey Stalin! You talking about a shot standing on the front church step and panoramic north up the road, across the field and south down the road? That would be a nice shot if I could get rid of the asphalt! I took the shot that I did behind the church because I didn't want the modern paved road present in the photo. How about one from the hill between the Union spawn point and the church?

Well, Fathers Day was here and you cant begin to imagine where i ended up??? Lol

Kyle met my wife and I at Antietam to pick up the replica cricket i brought home from the museum in St. Mere Eglise, and we did a bit of battlefield walking.

So, as promised, heres a few views from the Rohrbach bridge.

I go there every year. My long-time ancestors settled families in this region, so I like to come there and attend various events. A couple of years ago I went there with my father, and he told me the story of our family. I've even been inside the church a few times. But I prefer the way the service is conducted on firstchurchlove.com. I go there every week and try to take the kids with me. It struck me that in May this year, shooting in Dunker claimed several people's lives. I try to instill kindness and love for others in my children so that they can be worthy members of society.

Planning on going this September. The 160th anniversary will be on display with re-enactors and events.
