A very cool song, which was used by the Irish Brigade alot during the march:
Ofc, Army of the Free aka the song of Porter's Division
First Sergeant Joseph P. Brevett of Company B, 2nd Maryland Infantry
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;- William Shakespeare, Henry V
A Good Resource for The Maryland Campaign
Also John Brown's Body
First Sergeant Joseph P. Brevett of Company B, 2nd Maryland Infantry
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;- William Shakespeare, Henry V
A Good Resource for The Maryland Campaign
Definitly need this I loved it I found out about it from watching gettysburg when I was younger.
This is the music cd of our field music, these guys were known for playing lesser known music from the war and they are really good. The recordings were done outside so you hear birds and wind etc in some of the tracks.
