I think it'd be great if the military chaplains had the ability to give proper "fire and brimstone" sermons. Maybe some historical Civil War sermons are in the game like in a small book that the chaplain carries.
Another cool thing would be actual Bibles. Many soldiers would carry Bibles on them during the war and you can't exactly have a chaplain without a Bible lol. Also, I think it'd be cool if the Bible was interactive, as in it was actually a KJV and could be read from.

This would take more non fighting roles, so the dev's wouldn't like this. Also, not all regiments had a chaplain, you could have a doctor or a chaplain not both in the Union army. In my opinion, this is a straight no.

All seriousness though it would be awesome if they read prayers and such like in NW you select a certain song as a Drummer and it'd play, you could select a certain prayer or psalm to say and you hear an old man saying the prayer lol.
Realistically added into game? No. Just a cool dream haha. Although IF they were kind enough to let us mod the game a bit, I'd get a mate who is a seasoned modder to do something like this lol.
Both Union and Confederate soldiers carried Bibles on them throughout the war. There was one story involving a Union soldier being saved twice by his KJV. The good book stopped two musket balls.
